When it comes to travelling around the islands, Malta is trouble free. Those who are staying in Paceville or St.Julian's are literally a stone throw away from the best entertainment hub on the islands. The same can be said for those who inhabit Swieqi or Pembroke. Just in case your hotel or apartment is not in the area, then one can always arrive in Paceville by bus, taxi or by organising your own private mini bus service. The public transport service is certainly a good and cheap way to arrive in Paceville. The bus will stop you a minute away from the centre. Schedules towards the entertainment district are more regular during the summer months.

If you are living in the Paceville and St.Julian's area, simply walk back home. Maltese streets are certainly safe to walk through at all times of the day. Just in case you live far away from the area, it is advisable to go back home by bus (from Paceville Terminus - last service is offered at 3am to certain locations), by taxi or a mini bus service operated by chauffer garages. The latter is efficient, safe and cost effective. These work till early hours in the morning. It is advisable that before you visit Paceville, you will take note of where these services are offered as they may come in really handy. It is advisable not to drive back home after a good night out cherished by a drink or two!!!

Driving
In Malta, driving is on the left hand side while vehicles are right hand drive. In bypasses and open roads, the inner lane (the left lane) is considered to be the slower lane for more heavy vehicles. Various car rental services are available in Malta and hirers offer a vast fleet of cars is available according to one's budget. Insurance policies are usually included in the hiring price. Valid documents and a valid driving license must be shown to the hirer.
