Highlander Bar, Bistro & Guest House

As you may be aware the Highlander, located in Triq Elija Zammit, has been around for some time, however the new management has taken on the task of building the business and providing a one stop shop for your drinking, eating and accommodation requirements. The sole aim behind this new concept is to provide a quality product at a reasonable price that matches all pockets.

Pop in any time for a relaxing drink or a satisfying meal with colleagues and friends. As from this year, the Highlander will be offering lunches between 12:00 and 15:00 where an ample selection of lip smacking meals will be served at reasonable prices. Take-away and delivery service to your door are also available.

In line with the management's fresh new concept, each night something different will be offered. Whether it is a mouth-watering Thai meal at the Mai Tai restaurant, a relaxing mood evening, a quiz and fun night, a karaoke or an evening of the latest sounds with our resident DJ there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

On Sunday afternoons and into the evenings, the Highlander will be offering buffet menus for families and groups; buffet selections will include Italian, Maltese and Thai. Eat as much as you can for just €12.95, however a clean plate is expected at the end when your taste-buds and stomach have been satisfied. A'la carte menus are also available if booked in advance.

The Highlander complex also has an attached guest house with rooms for rent. All rooms are en-suite and have a kitchenette with cooking facilities. Balconies and terraces are available in a number of rooms. Room rates start from as little as €25 per night. Special rates are given for those opting for a longer stay.
