Chasing Pandora have returned triumphant from a hugely successful trip to Toronto where they performed several concerts as part of the North By North East Music Festival, which featured artists such as Iggy Pop and The Stooges, The Ravonettes and Mud Honey to name but a few of the 650 bands that performed between 16 - 20 June.
Chasing Pandora played several concerts to packed houses which saw not only a huge Maltese following but many Americans and Canadians who came and were highly appreciative of their performance!
It was a hectic visit which saw Melissa, Keith and Ismael being interviewed by the very popular Maltese Television Programme - 'Lehen Malti' where they spoke of their beautiful homeland Gozo and the music scene happening here in Malta. They were also invited to have their own stand in the bustling Dundas Square where they were able to promote Malta and Gozo and sell merchandise. Posters and fliers were distributed in all the Maltese clubs and it is therefore no wonder that when it came to the shows the venues were full to bursting.
Chasing Pandora see very good things happening for them in the future from these performances after having such a positive response from the music industry that were present at each performance.
It was also a great opportunity to promote Malta and Gozo and tell the community of Toronto just what they are missing.
'People', the new single by Chasing Pandora will be released here in Malta late July which is accompanied by a video shot in the Market Square in Gozo, again reminding people that not only are Chasing Pandora one of Malta's most successful artists but also that Gozo and Malta are a wonderful destination to come and spend some time.
