Finding yourself in this web-portal certainly indicated that you either love the clubbing and partying scene or otherwise you are looking forward to start delving into it. Dancing, drinking and meeting up new people are nothing but a few of the great sides of going out and simply letting go. However, there exists a list of things that you should check before going out for the Experience.
When clubbing, you tend to meet people from all walks of life and one has to be open to learn something from anyone he or she meets, as talks within clubs have a tendency to be inspirational or funny! That said, one has to be prepared to meet individuals who lack everything from common sense to hygiene. Before going out, think ahead about where you intend to go. Keep in mind that some clubs do have their own set standards. Wear the right clothes as you have no idea of how many times I have heard of stories of people not getting into certain clubs because of their outfits.
Needless to say, however it is worth mentioning that one should take a shower before going out. It's not just for hygienic purposes, but also for you to feel fresh, more confident and up for the night. Keeping in line with the cleanliness debate, one must not forget to wear antiperspirant (better than deodorant) and some perfume. This sounds relatively obvious, however it is quite common to meet someone who is dancing like a crazy loop on the dance floor and then stinking it up with the smell of sweat. There exists nothing like sweet summer sweat. That is just a myth! One should also keep some mints or chewing gum in his pockets to combat a potential bad breath.
Make sure you have some notes in your wallet or purse. Nightclubs and discos are usually loud thus making it hard to hear the person behind the bar. Just hand a ten or a twenty Euro note and figure out how much you were charged afterwards. If you're able to, do count your change. Ultimately, do not forget to charge your mobile phone before leaving home as it might get useful during the night.
Whilst promoting the clubbing experience, I certainly recommend that everyone should enjoy the night responsibly within limits, without disrupting those around.
